The bitesize documentaries where everything goes wrong

Netflix's Trainwreck documentary series celebrates chaos. It tells the stories of events that you can’t believe to be true yet somehow are.

As these tales unfold, with twists and turns every few minutes, Trainwreck proves that the good, the bad, and the very, very ugly are all thrilling subjects for a documentary.

Trainwreck retells the stories you once couldn't stop talking about. It delves into these topics in greater depth than the headline you may have seen in the newspaper or the hashtag you may have seen on X.

The documentaries are all standalone, meaning you can pick and which are exciting enough to watch. At 50 minutes long (except Trainwreck: Woodstock '99 which is a story so tumultuous, it takes three episodes to tell) it races to the details we all want to know.

Some episodes in the series feel mismatched in tone to others. Most are humorous in nature - they cover events that wouldn't have been nice to experience but have transformed into funny memories through the power of time.
