Leeds United's struggling Premier League rivals West Ham have signed an Argentina international striker in their bid for survival.

The Hammers suffered their fifth defeat from their last nine games on Saturday - 3-0 at rock-bottom Wolves which left them third-bottom, four points adrift of safety and now eight points behind fifth-bottom Leeds.
