Yorkshire Evening Post
|August 04, 2025
Cleckheaton had Woodlands worried at Albert Terrace in the Bradford League Premier Division - but the hosts produced a late sting in the tale to run out winners and remain second in the standings.
The home side were 53-3 before captain Brad Schmulian (127) was joined by Henry Pearson (109), and they added 225, with Schmulian facing 133 deliveries and hitting 10 fours and Pearson having 122 balls and claiming eight fours and two sixes.
Cleck were not fazed, however, by facing a total of 292-5 and mounted their assault from 118-2 after 30 overs.
