Rhinos edged out after tight tussle with league leaders

Leeds Rhinos went toe to toe with Hull KR for 73 minutes of a pulsating clash at AMT Headingley, only to fall agonisingly short.

The visitors, who had trailed 14-6, snatched a 20-14 victory through two tries in the last seven minutes, but a cracking contest was marred by some contentious officiating which left both sides aggrieved.

Jack Sinfield, selected at scrum-half in place of Matt Frawley, was sin-binned for a shoulder to the head of Hull KR fullback Arthur Mourgue after five minutes. With 17 left, the Robins' Sauaso Sue saw red for a similar offence against Sam Lisone - and 10 later, Ash Handley was sent-off for the same thing, with Mourgue again the victim.
