Offering care and support to families in their darkest hours
Yorkshire Evening Post
|July 24, 2025
The death of a child is an unspeakable tragedy for their family, and the worst nightmare of any parent.
Families in the care of Martin House live with this terrible reality every day. While much of our care is about helping them to live their lives to the fullest, we also help parents to think about what they want for their child if their condition worsens, or when they come to the end of their life.
But if a child dies suddenly, families are thrust into the maelstrom of shock and grief without warning.
