Leeds Beckett University to launch new health tech hub

A Leeds university is gearing up to play a major role in developing businesses that reduce health inequalities.
Leeds Beckett University is to open a Sport Health Tech Incubator, backed by a £1.1m investment from the West Yorkshire Combined Authority via the West Yorkshire Investment Zone.
The incubator will be based within the Carnegie School of Sport at the Headingley Campus, with the ground floor of Fairfax Hall transformed into a hub for entrepreneurs, startups and growing businesses.
