THEY may have left it late but Leeds Knights salvaged their weekend with a come-from-behind win to salvage their weekend doubleheader against Milton Keynes Lightning.
DOUBLE DELIGHT: Matt Bissonnette scored twice in the 7-5 win over Milton Keynes.
Trailing 5-4 with just over six minutes to go at The Castle, it looked like the Knights would suffer the same fate as the previous evening when they were well-beaten 5-1 in Milton Keynes.
But goals from Owen Sobchak, Liam Peyton and Matt Bissonnette turned the game on its head to secure a 7-5 win.
It keeps them 13 points behind leaders Swindon Wildcats - who banked a four-point weekend - with 16 games to play.
