Coun Pryor joins a ride-out on a Leeds City Bike
Highway improvements from Horsforth to Pudsey (Dawsons Corner) on the Leeds outer ring road (A6120) are now complete, making the route more accessible for walking, wheeling and cycling, and with new 50mph speed restrictions and changes to junctions making journeys safer for all road users.
The final part of the scheme, construction of an accessible footbridge over the A6120 Ring Road near Calverley Lane to connect Calverley and Farsley, will start on site early next year.
The footbridge should take around 12 months to build.
The work is part of the wider Connecting West Leeds programme, which will cost more than £23m and is being supported by £20m from the UK Government's Levelling Up Fund.
