The £46.1m scheme, which aims to significantly improve the main entrance of Leeds City Station, is now set to be completed by the spring of 2026 a year later.

A Leeds City Council spokesperson added that Network Rail's essential maintenance to the Mill Goit structure underneath New Station Street is also underway.
