Senior Medical Officer of local Civil Hospital, Dr. Satvir Singh, while alerting people about health, said that different types of mosquitoes spread many serious diseases like dengue, chikungunya, malaria and Japanese brain fever. Many concrete steps have been taken by health department to prevent them.Dr. Satvir Singh said that female Anopheles mosquito, which spreads malaria, bites mostly at night and the female Aedes mosquito, which spreads dengue and chikungunya, bites during the day.
