Harvinder Kalyan gives gift of 3 projects worth Rs 4 crore 44 lakh to Karnal

Haryana Assembly Speaker Harvinder Kalyan on Friday gave a big gift to the people of the area by laying the foundation stone of three projects worth Rs 4 crore 44 lakh. He also heard the problems of the people in village Daha and Ashok Vihar Colony and directed the concerned officials to resolve them. Kalyan said that his doors are open 24 hours for the public. Development of the constituency is his priority. In the coming time, not only the pending works will be completed but new projects will also be started as per the needs of the people. He laid the foundation stone for the beautification of the pond in village Daha. Rs 86 lakh 33 thousand will be spent on this. The date of completion of the work has been set as 13 September 2025.
Ramps, stairs, footpaths and rain water harvesting will be built in this pond. The Assembly Speaker directed the Municipal Corporation officials to plant shady trees in the pond and also put up a fence around the pond. He also laid the foundation stone of the road from village Madanpur to Daha. Rs 284 lakh will be spent on this. The length of this road is 21 hundred metres. Out of this, 1500 metres of road (width 6.38 metres) will be made of 8 inch thick CC block and 600 metres of carpet road (width 6.10 metres). The date of completion of the work has been fixed as 14th August. Retaining walls will also be built
