BJP to soon flag off Punjab's first urban wildlife corridor under Zirakpur bypass project at cost of Rs 200 cr: Kewal Dhillon

The Bharatiya Janata Party has soon flagged off Punjab's first urban wildlife corridor under the Zirakpur Bypass Project at a cost of Rs 200 crore, under which the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs chaired by the Prime Minister last month had approved a six-lane road under hybrid annuity mode.

These words were expressed by BJP state vice president Barnala and former MLA Kewal Singh Dhillon while talking to the media. He said that with its construction, the bypass of about 19.2 km will reduce the congestion of Zirakpur and Panchkula. A 3 km long elevated road will be built on the forest to provide a safe passage for wildlife near the Ghaggar river.
