Big launch At Ravenscraig for the 2026 North Lanarkshire Half Marathon
Runners, families and local communities are being encouraged to lace up their trainers as the North Lanarkshire Half Marathon has been officially launched for 2026.
The return of the event, proudly sponsored by Albert Bartlett, was given the green light by elected members and is set to build on the energy, enthusiasm and community spirit that made the 2025 race such a memorable day for Motherwell and beyond.
The Half Marathon is open to participants aged 16 and over and features a fully chip-timed route through Motherwell and surrounding areas, with both the start and finish based at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility.
