Win installs Topsham as new leaders in SW One
Western Morning News

TOPSHAM are the new leaders in South West One following a 33-29 over Royal Wotton Bassett on the Bonfire Field.
-
Longtime table-toppers Devon-port Services surrendered pole position after they dipped to a 9-10 home defeat against Brixham.
There isn't a lot in it at the top though as Services are only two points behind Topsham. Brixham are 12 points back in third, but do have a game in hand.
The form book suggested a comfortable home win for Topsham. No visiting side has won a league game there since September 2023, when Sidmouth edged them out 29-25. That was 28 games ago now.
The reality was a little different. Bassett led 21-12 at half time and Topsham had to get a wiggle on in the second half to win the game.
