Leaders in town to take on Torquay

TORQUAY United will welcome early National League South leaders AFC Totton to Plainmoor for a first ever game between the two sides tonight.

Totton, who won promotion from the Premier Division South of the Southern League last season, have made the step up look easy, beating Dover Athletic 3-2 away on day one of the season, and following that up with a 3-0 home win against Tonbridge Angels.

After Torquay beat Enfield Town 3-1 at Plainmoor on the first day, they had a difficult afternoon on the plastic pitch at Maidstone United last weekend where a 96th minute penalty by Jordan Young rescued a point.
