City hope for good news on Villa loanee Swinkels

Young Grecians defender is awaiting the results of a scan to his injured knee
EXETER City are anxiously awaiting the result of a scan to defender Sil Swinkels, who limped out of Tuesday's 1-0 League One win at Wycombe Wanderers.
The on-loan Aston Villa defender (pictured) has looked assured in his four games for the Grecians so far, but lasted just 42 minutes before hobbling out of the action and being replaced by fellow loanee Ryan Rydel.
Manager Gary Caldwell said the centre back’s knee is still quite swollen and he went for a scan to assess the extent of the damage, with the Grecians expected to get the results back soon.
