Two more women charged in connection with fatal shooting of mother-of-four

TWO women from Cardiff have been charged in connection with the alleged murder of Joanne Penney, 40, who was shot dead at a home in Talbot Green on March 9 this year.

Ms Penney, a mother-of-four, was found dead in a block of flats in Talbot Green after being shot in the chest.
She was discovered by police at a property in Llys Illtyd at around 6.10pm. A postmortem examination gave a provisional cause of death as a gunshot wound to the chest involving the heart and left lung.
Seven defendants attended a plea and trial preparation hearing at Cardiff Crown Court on Monday, July 7, and all of them entered not-guilty pleas to their charges.
