Ramsey still has so much to offer Wales, says Bellamy

|October 01, 2025
CRAIG Bellamy insists Aaron Ramsey still has plenty to offer Wales following the midfielder’s return to the squad for the upcoming games with England and Belgium.
Ramsey hasn't featured in a squad for over a year, having last featured in the UEFA Nations League doubleheader with Turkey and Montenegro.
Injury has largely stunted his hopes of inclusion, but Bellamy says the 34-year-old is raring to go once again.
"He's fit," Bellamy said. "I haven't had that luxury with him. When I look back at that first game he was immense.
"He has the brain. That's never going to go.
"We have legs in and around him that could really benefit from his type of profile.
"What I’ve seen is a player fit that still has a lot to offer in the way we play.
"He definitely has a lot to offer.
"We've got to get to Sunday. We did say that maybe these interviews would be better on the Sunday, then we have a really good idea on the squad.
"He's a player I massively admire. He still has a lot to offer us."
This is also Ramsey's first call-up since his move to Mexican side Pumas, with the Wales boss revealing he's been keeping close tabs on his progress out there, as well as how he’s being managed by his current club.
