New speed cameras installed on roads 'at high risk of collision'

FOUR new fixed speed cameras will be activated across south Wales next week.

The new cameras will be installed on roads where there is said to be a high risk of collision, with one in Swansea, another in Newport and two in Merthyr Tydfil.

Advice letters will be issued for the first four weeks to inform drivers of the new cameras and tell them the correct speed limit for the roads.

GoSafe will be in charge of processing the offences captured by the new fixed speed cameras.
