New images show plans for transport interchange

FRESHLY released designs show how the new multi-million-pound Milford Haven Public Transport Interchange will look like on its projected completion date of mid 2027.

The seaside town has reinventing itself into a tourist destination.

The Milford Haven Public Transport Interchange is set to transform the existing railway stations and is being funded by both the local authority and Welsh Government.

The funding from the Welsh Government is coming via its Local Transport Fund and amounts to £6.07m, while Pembrokeshire county council is pitching in £1.4m.

Plans for the new public transport interchange will see the existing platform relocated to facilitate the addition of:

■ a new bus interchange;

■ better walking and cycling links connecting to the retail park and the wider area;

■ a dedicated taxi rank for quicker pickups;

■ a properly laid-out car park;
