Key road remains blocked as efforts to clear flood continue

And video footage captured people making the most of the floodwater, swimming, fishing and even paddle boarding on the submerged roundabout in Swansea.

As we reported yesterday, Cwmbwrla roundabout a key route into the city flooded on Sunday afternoon when torrential rain hit Wales.

Abandoned cars were left floating in the water and the closure of the major route has caused chaos for commuters.

Aerial footage taken yesterday at noon shows the roundabout fully underwater, meaning drivers are being diverted.

Yesterday afternoon, Swansea council said it was continuing to work to remove the water as quickly as possible and suggested the cause of the flooding may have been a previously collapsed culvert on private land.
