I want Moore, says goal-hungry Kieffer

KIEFFER Moore has his eyes fixed firmly on overtaking a number of Welsh football's biggest names in the goalscoring charts this month - including his current boss.

The Wrexham striker heads into the upcoming games with England and Belgium with 15 international goals to his name, putting him level with the legendary John Charles, and one short of Rob Earnshaw, Mark Hughes and Cliff Jones.
Surpassing those names is clearly a significant personal ambition for Moore, who revealed he’s already spoken to one of his chart rivals this week.
“When I hit 15, I did have a little scroll and see who was up and around there,’ he said ahead of Thursday's clash with the Three Lions at Wembley.
“I was speaking to Rob Earnshaw earlier. I think he’s got one more than me.
“So I said to him ‘you're next on the list”
Current Wales boss Bellamy could soon come into Moore's view too, having racked up 19 goals in his international career, and the narrowing gap between the two players hasn't gone unnoticed on the training ground.
“We briefly had a little chat about it and he basically joked that if I got too close he'd stop playing me,’ Moore laughed.
“Of course I've set a target and if I hit it, then incredible.
“But I'm very, very thankful for the journey I’ve had so far.
