Drug dealer gets eight years in jail

A DRUG dealer likened his crimes to the adventures of “boy genius” cartoon character Jimmy Neutron.

Ellis Driscoll, a 26-year-old from Newport, was first caught by police last December, when he was a passenger in a car stopped by officers over a false licence plate.
Also in the car were two of his accomplices, who were both found in possession of Class A drugs. A Nokia burner phone and a small amount of cannabis were found in the back seat near where Driscoll had been sitting.
Driscoll was arrested and his iPhone was seized along with the Nokia. He was later released on police bail.
