Weapons seized after report of man shouting and swearing in street

WEAPONS were seized from the address of a man who was arrested on a quiet residential street.

Initially, a member of the public called police about a man who was shouting and swearing on Crocker Way in Wincanton, on Sunday, May 11. The member of the public made the call at around 3.45pm. They stated the man was in possession of weapons. Avon and Somerset Police made their way to the scene. A man in his 50s was arrested on suspicion of affray.
