YOUNG pilgrims have been baking sweet treats and crafting colourful messages of hope as part of a yearlong celebration of faith and unity.

Pupils at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Primary School in Wincanton gathered to mark the close of a year living as “Pilgrims of Hope”
The school, which is part of the Dunstan Catholic Educational Trust, held a Jubilee for Schools Celebration Day to participate in the event.
A Jubilee year in the Catholic Church is a special Holy Year observed every 25 years, focusing on forgiveness, reconciliation, and mercy. The theme for 2025 is “Pilgrims of Hope”.
