No western warships to stop Houthi attacks

HOW extraordinary that neither Sir Keir Starmer nor Emmanuel Macron at the conclusion of the French president's State visit to the UK, made no mention of what was surely the most dramatic and significant news of the week, largely sidelined by the Press, of the Houthi (Yemeni militants) attack on and subsequent sinking of two western merchant ships in the Red Sea.
‘This will have enormous implications for imports and exports. All merchant shipping will now avoid the Red Sea and Suez Canal like the plague. All shipping will now have to sail via the Cape of Good Hope adding a huge amount to the costs of goods and massive delays. Are you ready for this?
