Joy for hundreds of protestors as housing proposals set for refusal

CAMPAIGNERS are celebrating as a plan to build 265 houses between Hereford and a treasured nature reserve appears to be headed for refusal by county planners.

The STL Energy bid to develop farmland south of the A438 between the eastern edge of Hereford and the Lugg Meadows nature reserve, has been repeatedly pushed back since March last year as details have been revised in response to widespread criticisms.
