Gloucester focused on Saints

GLOUCESTER Rugby host Northampton Saints on Sunday looking to find some fluidity in their game after a 'clunky' display in the 27-10 defeat at Sale Sharks.

An underpowered scrum, held up by the club's fourth and fifth choice loosehead props in Harrison Bellamy, 20, and Archie McArthur, 22, was beaten up and penalised heavily to make every dropped ball by the backs an even bigger sin. Reflecting on the opening day defeat, Cherry and Whites director of rugby George Skivington, pictured right: "We were a bit clunky and there were a lot of set-piece penalties so we couldn't quite get into the game like we wanted to. We weren't at our best, and some of our lads who haven't played a lot of rugby looked like that more than I would have liked."
