Community to have say on how £20m fund is spent

THE first big event with the people of Hartcliffe to discuss what they want to see £20 million spent on in their community has been announced - and all are welcome to the Saturday morning session.

The 'Trailblazer drop-in' will see local MP Karin Smyth and representatives from Bristol City Council give presentations throughout the morning, explaining what the 'Pride in Place' programme is, and how people in the community can get involved in deciding what happens next in Hartcliffe.
Last June, the Government announced Hartcliffe was one of 25 'Pride in Place trailblazer' neighbourhoods across the country that would be receiving up to £20 million investment over the next ten years.
