City chief Struber to get to work in training
Western Daily Press
|October 07, 2025
GERHARD Struber has outlined his plans for the international break - with Bristol City set to play one in-house game and use the extended interval to address the "one or other gap" that has proved costly in their recent performances.
The Robins head into this month's international fixtures in frustrating fashion, with a 2-1 defeat to Queens Park Rangers at Ashton Gate stretching their winless run in the Championship to four matches.
Having taken the lead through Emil Riis after 32 minutes, Struber's side twice conceded in the second half, with both Richard Kone and Paul Smyth managing to beat Radek Vitek to ensure all three points would be heading to west London.
The Robins have a little under two weeks to wait for their chance to get back to winning ways when they travel to Carrow Road to face former boss Liam Manning and Norwich.
While preparations for that contest will include a training game this week, Struber and his players will be looking to make improvements on the training ground, particularly in defence.
