Mother-of-five Alice Webb, 33, died after having a nonsurgical BBL procedure at a clinic in Gloucester said to have been carried out by TV star ‘Lip King’ Jordan James Parke.

Alice had reportedly fallen ill at a clinic he runs and he had been under investigation over possible manslaughter charges.

But Parke, who was due to answer bail next month and was never charged with an offence, was found dead last week, his family confirmed on social media.

A campaign had previously been launched for ‘Alice’s Law’ with her family calling for a blanket ban on BBLs.

And in a statement released yesterday, the director of Save Face, Ashton Collins, who has been working with Alice’s family on the issue, said it would continue to “lobby relentlessly for this essential change”

He said: “We have been campaigning since 2023 for the government to ban anyone other than GMC registered plastic surgeons from carrying out liquid BBLs, warning of the potentially fatal consequences of these highly dangerous procedures, risks that are magnified when they are performed by laypeople in unsuitable, unsterile settings.
