A HANDMADE knitted Chris Martin doll, created by local crafter Sandra Witcombe to celebrate the band's Glastonbury 2024 headline performance and signed by Coldplay, is being offered in a Crowdfunder Prize Draw to support Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance's 2ndHeli Appeal.

World tour doll does Heli appeal the world of good

Unlike the "nudiknit" figures that Sandra and her friends display in the Hive Café shop window in Shepton Mallet, this doll is different. It is fully dressed in one of Chris Martin's stage outfits which includes detail like lyrics on the trousers and the jewellery he wears.

The doll's story is almost as special as the item itself. After being picked up from the Hive Café, it travelled with Coldplay on their Music of the Spheres World Tour, sitting in the band's dressing room, roaming backstage, and even appearing on stage at the Olympiastadion in Munich.
