Stimulus emerges for climate tech capital
Vietnam Investment Review
|June 08, 2026
Vietnam’s climate tech startup ecosystem is gaining fresh momentum, with increasing funding commitments in recent months.
On May 29, Touchstone Partners, Temasek Foundation, and the Vietnam International Financial Centre in Ho Chi Minh City signed a strategic collaboration agreement to mobilise international financial resources, expertise and networks to advance innovation and technology development.
Under the agreement, the three sides will jointly build collaborative platforms to support enterprises deploying green and climate solutions in Vietnam, including investment readiness, regulatory sandbox initiatives, market entry, commercialisation and international scaling. Other key priority areas for joint action include innovation and green economy development, capital mobilisation and strategic partnerships, and international collaboration.
Tran Nhat Khanh, managing partner of Touchstone Partners, said, “This collaboration further reinforces Touchstone Partners’ investment thesis — that climate solutions made in Vietnam can generate commercial returns alongside meaningful emissions reduction outcomes. We look forward to welcoming more partners to join this journey.”
On May 27, the Australian government announced a commitment of up to $10 million for venture capital firm Do Ventures Fund II, providing capital for climate-focused Vietnamese businesses and strengthening Vietnam’s climate investment market to attract greater private finance.
