Poland's overarching political economic goal is to elevate Poland-Vietnam relations to the level of a strategic partnership, with economic cooperation designated as a central pillar. This upgrade is intended to institutionalise long term engagement beyond ad hoc trade growth and anchor Vietnam as Poland's key partner in Southeast Asia.
In 2025, the value of agri-food exports to the Vietnamese market exceeded $258 million, including nearly $226 million worth of exports of live animals and animal-origin products. It is worth noting that within the EU, Poland is among the countries that have most significantly increased their trade with Vietnam.
