TIVERTON’S annual Remembrance Sunday parade went ahead with sombre reflection and community spirit.

Held on Sunday, November 9, the parade began in Fore Street before making its way through Gold Street and Newport Street, concluding at a service at St Peter’s Church.
The service was led by Reverend Christian Hill and was followed by wreath-laying at Angel Hill.
Attendees included representatives from Mid Devon District Council, local armed forces organisations, the mayor, cadets and majorettes, all of whom laid wreaths in tribute to the fallen.
The MP for Tiverton and Minehead, Rachel Gilmour, was not present and a wreath was not laid on her behalf, despite being called to do so.
