TOON VENUE SAMTHING SPECIAL FOR LUCKLEY
The Sunday Mirror
|May 04, 2025
GEORDIE Sam Luckley scored at St James' Park again and admitted: "I wish I could play here every week!"
A huge Newcastle fan, the Hull KR prop described crossing there at Magic Weekend in 2022 as one of the best days of his life.
And he did it all again yesterday, claiming Rovers' second try as the Super League leaders ran riot against Salford.
Luckley reprised his Alan Shearer raised-arm salute after once more crossing at the Gallowgate End, morphing it into one for motor neurone disease awareness.
Super League sponsors Betfred are donating money to the MND Association for every try celebration across the weekend.
