Struber's ruthless approach

BRISTOL CITY manager Gerhard Struber liked the ruthlessness his side showed in their convincing win at struggling Sheffield Wednesday.

First-half goals from Emil Riis, Anis Mehmeti and an own goal from Harry Amass secured a win which moves the Robins up to third in the Championship.

Struber said: “How we executed the plan today was on point. The boys did a great job against a tough opponent.

“This is our standard. In the end we could have scored more goals, we have a clean sheet and created many chances, while they had one shot on target.”
