FREED RAPIST REHOMED AFTER PROTESTS
MADELEINE McCann suspect Christian Brueckner has been moved from his safe house a week after being released from jail.
Angry locals shouted "scum" and "shame on you" as police led the convicted paedophile from the ground floor flat where he had been staying.
It is believed he was moved after he complained his address in a north German suburb had been posted in a WhatsApp group and after residents started a petition to get him out.
Officers carried his bags as smirking Brueckner - in a green hoodie - strolled with hands in pockets to a police car.
The 48-year-old is German police's prime suspect in three-year-old Madeleine's disappearance in 2007.
She vanished while on holiday with her family in Praia da Luz in Portugal's Algarve. Brueckner, who lived nearby, denies any involvement.
