RORY: I'M ON BIRDIE TRAIN IN TIME TO BE EURO STAR

RORY McILROY reckons he has found his match-play form early for the Ryder Cup after shooting 17 birdies at the BMW PGA this week in his 54 holes so far at Wentworth.

The Masters champion made seven birdies in his third-round 70, but is 10 shots off the lead having also carded two double bogeys after twice needing penalty drops from bushes yesterday - as well as adding a sixth bogey of the week.
