Protests across the UK both for and against asylum seekers hotels

REFORM UK leader Nigel Farage was accused of stirring up racial hatred as protests took place outside migrant hotels across the country yesterday.

In England and Scotland demonstrators both for and against brandished Union Jacks and St George's flags, trading insults in flashpoints including Epping, Swindon, Oldham, Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle and Falkirk.

It comes as some councils say they will still pursue legal action to stop asylum seekers being housed in hotels in their areas, despite the Court of Appeal ruling.
