EX-KOP SKIPPER WON THE PREM IN 2020, NOW HE'S SET TO DO THE SAME WITH AJAX... BUT NOT ALL DUTCH FANS LIKE ENGLAND MAN

- EXCLUSIVE BY SIMON MULLOCK

JORDAN HENDERSON is available to lead Ajax to the Eredivisie title - after being accused of getting himself booked to fast-track a one-match ban and be free for the run-in.

Henderson served that automatic one-game suspension - the draw against Sparta Rotterdam last week - for picking up his fifth yellow card of the season in a 4-0 defeat at Utrecht.

Pundits in Holland have suggested Henderson was delighted when a dissenting gesture to referee Bas Nijhuis drew a booking that would free him up to play in his club’s final three games of the season.

Ajax are clear of PSV Eindhoven at the top of the table with three games left to play - and 34-year-old captain Henderson would be the one lifting the trophy assuming the deal gets sealed.

Dutch TV pundit Bram van Polen claimed: "Jordan will be secretly happy with the yellow card he got against Utrecht as he was suspended for the next game against Sparta.

CONSIDERING he objects to the United Kingdom being \"colonised by immigrants\", it is a touch ironic that Sir Jim Ratcliffe is having to set aside the best part of £16million to pay off a small group of foreign workers.
