Menopause is a tough time for many of us, but a few simple lifestyle tweaks could help make the midlife change a little easier

October is Menopause Awareness Month and this year’s theme is lifestyle medicine, which shines a light on simple daily changes that can act as natural medicine.

Katie Taylor, a leading voice on midlife and menopause, explains that there are many ways in which you can better manage your menopause.

She says, “The six pillars of lifestyle medicine include nutrition, physical activity, restorative sleep, stress management, positive social connection and avoiding risky substances such as alcohol, drugs and tobacco.”
