M PEOPLE star Heather Small says one of her proudest moments was when her son won a seat on the London Assembly.
The Moving On Up singer - whose top 20 solo smash Proud followed a string of hits for her group — was at the count in May 2024 with her Labour councillor son, James Small-Edwards.
The West Central seat had been held by the Tories since the Assembly was created in 2000.
Heather, 60, said: "I don't talk about my son so much but, let me tell you, it was nerve-racking.
