MP warns of 'deep disconnect' as voters look for alternatives

A LABOUR MP today says Keir Starmer needs a “change of plan” more than a Plan For Change after Labour's poor results in the local elections.

TRUST matters. The Tories made promises to the public and never delivered.

Years of austerity laid waste to communities. The public made their feelings known at last year’s General Election and this week's local elections. The Tories look like a spent force.

Labour was elected on the promise we would serve the public and improve their lives. Within months there was the ‘freebies’ scandal and the removal of winter fuel from millions of pensioners. We spent a decade telling the Waspi women we supported them, then decided they didn’t deserve compensation.
