Pep admits he'll switch tactics mid-game if needed to secure crucial point for City

- BY SIMON MULLOCK

PEP GUARDIOLA insists he will only be judged on results - and is prepared to change his methods if it guarantees him the point Manchester City need for Champions League qualification.

City start the final day in third place and with a superior goal difference to Newcastle, Chelsea, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest.

But a defeat at Fulham would open the door for all four to overtake them.

After a week when Ruben Amorim’s refusal to change his beliefs led to a Europa League Final defeat and more doubts about his Manchester United future, City boss Guardiola knows he will be judged on whether his side can get over the line.

He said: “The manager is good if you win - if you don't, then his decisions are wrong.

“Any plan when you win, that's really, really, really good.

“We are judged on our results, not for the way we want to approach the game.
