Gok Wan on nearly jacketing in fame
HE found huge success on How To Look Good Naked, but stylist Gok Wan says he nearly quit the fashion world to work in finance instead.
The TV host and DJ, 50, reveals: "I wanted a career change.
"And I always fantasised about the idea of working in finance or working in the City. I know, it sounds bizarre. But I'm really interested in economics. I think I probably could have done it." Gok is best known by TV viewers for his Channel 4 style makeover show, which ran for seven series from 2006.
But he is no stranger to career changes he is also a chef, fronting cooking shows and writing cook books - and a DJ.
