According to the latest figures from the Office for National Statistics, 41% of workers reported working from home at least some of the time, some remain WFH permanently, and others are working TWaTs (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) in the office.

Since the costs of working from home often fall on employees, it's important to ensure we're claiming all available tax breaks to maximize our savings.

Employees can claim tax relief on £6 per week, which equates to £62 a year for a basic rate taxpayer.

Those with incomes of up to £50,270 can claim £6pw x 52 x 20%, and for a higher rate taxpayer, it's £6pw x 52 x 40% for the current tax year.
