Olympic rail strife hits Brit getaways
HOLIDAYMAKERS were told to expect "a weekend of woe" yesterday as their attempts to get away were hit with a double whammy of travel hell.
It is the busiest weekend of the year for travel as the schools break up for the summer - but arson attacks on French train tracks as the Paris Olympics began on Friday have added to the chaos.
People heading for the Games by Eurostar faced long delays as one in four trains on the London to-Paris route was cancelled.
