TWO own goals help keep Mik men top of the pile as Wolves are sunk
IT takes luck to win a title, it is just few were expecting Arsenal to need lots of it to take three points against the Premier League's worst team.
Winless Wolves took the league leaders to the brink before falling to a club record ninth straight defeat after own goals from Sam Johnstone and Yerson Mosquera. Just six days after shipping four goals at home to Manchester United, Wolves became only the second team this season after Manchester City to stop the Gunners scoring in the first half of a home game this season.
But Bukayo Saka's inswinging cross hit the far post before going in off the back of Johnstone.
Then after Tolu Arokodore headed in a 90th-minute equaliser the joy on the visiting bench was cruelly torn from them as Saka's 94th-minute cross went in off Mosquera's head.
It did not take long for the pattern of a top-vs-bottom game to take shape.
Saka glided past David Moller Wolfe to deliver a seventh-minute cross that Jurrien Timber headed over from just outside the six-yard box.
