UP CM Yogi ensures safety of Mahakumbh devotees

NEW DELHI To ensure the safety of over 450 million devotees attending Mahakumbh 2025 in Prayagraj, the Uttar Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has implemented advanced security measures, including the deployment of anti-drone systems and a substantial increase in transportation services.
The Mahakumbh fair area has been equipped with a state-of-the-art anti-drone system to prevent unauthorized aerial activities. On the first day of its operation, this system detected and neutralized two unauthorized drones. Notices were issued to the operators involved. Senior Superintendent of Police Rajesh Dwivedi emphasized that no drone flights are permitted in the fair area without prior police approval, and any violations will result in strict legal action.
